  • Tofu
  • 10 Garlic Cloves (minced)
  • 2 slices of thinly cut ginger
  • Shitake Mushrooms
  • Button Mushrooms
  • Enoki Mushrooms
  • Peas
  • Baby Corn
  • Carrot

Sauce Mix:

  • Water
  • 1 tsp Chinese sesame oil
  • ½ tsp Sampradas Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 tsp Mushroom Powder
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sweet Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Mushroom Sauce
  • 1 tsp Vegetarian Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sugar

Thickener:

  • 1 tsp Corn flour (diluted in water)

🔥 Preparation Method

  1. To begin, heat Sampradas Wood Cold-Pressed Groundnut Oil in a pan. Add tofu and shallow fry until it turns golden brown. Once done, set it aside.
  2. Next, add minced soya to the same pan and fry until it’s beautifully browned and slightly crispy.
  3. Then, toss in the garlic and sauté until golden. After that, stir in the ginger slices and cook for a minute.
  4. Now, add all the mushrooms with a pinch of salt. Sauté well. After 5 minutes, the mushrooms will begin to soften and release their flavors.
  5. Following this, add in the peas, baby corn, and carrots. Mix everything together until evenly coated.
  6. Now, carefully pour in the prepared sauce mixture and allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes, letting the flavors meld.
  7. Afterwards, return the fried tofu to the pan and let it braise in the sauce for another 2 minutes.
  8. Finally, add the corn flour slurry and stir gently until the gravy thickens to your liking.
  9. Serve hot with steamed rice and enjoy every bite of this soulful Braised Tofu with Vegetables!
